OK this one is a late one but better late then never right?
Every year our school has a field day , it's a day of outside games in the lovely heat playing and goofing off. Kinda like a reward for the kids doing so well in the school year. They always ask for parents to help or even just come and watch the kids as they compete for different things.
I got to help this year and was in charge of the races. Not the big one but a fun one at that.
At the end of the day the whole school gathers around and every one gets to race , first each class races boys then girls. Then they take the fastest boy and girl of the class and put them against the whole school. Bradley was fastest in 3 rd grade of course , I hate to sound bias but I already knew he would win that one. Then he raced against the whole school and took second to a 5Th grader , I think if he would of stuck his chest out just an inch or two they would of said Bradley won because the boy can run like a damn deer.Dustin had a little bit of trouble starting off when he raced because his teacher was talking to him at the same time the P.E. teacher said go so he took 5Th in his class. Which really that is good because there is 25 students in his class. I think he did good no matter what though. Then they had long jump competitions all the kids who were the fastest runners for their class got to participate. That went on for 15 minutes before they finally had a winner for that. And of course Bradley was against a 5Th grader til the end. Bradley jumped his last jump and barely touched the rope on the other side, the other kid jumped and barely missed the other rope. I tell you every one is going to want Bradley in track when he gets to high school if he can keep this up. WOW. It was a good day in all and we enjoyed the fun time. Now off to football and soccer to keep their skills going.

So I heard about the building...and I am devastated that I missed that!! :) That is too funny, I wish I could have seen it in person! Daniel stopped by on his way home from somewhere that day, and he said it was quite the experience!!
