Snow In Idaho For Thanksgiving!

Our First snow fall the kids wanted to head out and enjoy the snow by making a snow fort. They cheated alittle to make it stay up and used our picnic table. The first snow fall was extremely wet and easy to make snow balls. The kids really enjoyed it.

Our Second day of snow fall wasn't so nice. But then again it was. The kids didn't have school for 2 days because of the blizzard conditions we had. The roads were closed all around us and the drifts were something else. But of course it was pretty to look at from the warm toasty house.

I just loved how it blastered our fence with snow because the wind was blowing so bad.

Daniel of course has to use his bobcat to plow out our driveway, and after putting a TURBO yes a turbo on the bobcat he had to try it out and opted to do so by plowing out the nice ladies mailbox down the road. The grader went through and buried her mailbox and she was unable to get mail for 2 days because the pile was at least 4 feet high and 5 feet across. He first decided he was just gonna go for it and plow through but he soon learned it wasn't gonna work after being stuck for a minute and having to shovel himself out. After getting unstuck he took my advice and took out alittle at a time. I think he likes playing in the bobcat more then he lets on. It now has a turbo, windshield wiper, and soon to come a radio as soon as he orders the speakers. BOYS N THEIR TOYS. =>

Loving Vegas

Yes it's true we (Daniel and I) made another trip to Vegas this year. It was spur of the moment for no good reason, other then we wanted to have fun trip.
We were suppose to go with some friends of ours but in the last moment of planning they couldn't make it. So I guess that'll give us a good reason to go back soon.
This time we were able to spend almost the whole time with my little sister and her husband. It was nice to visit with them, because it's been 5 months since we've seen them last.
This time Daniel went and got his motorcylce endorsement so he could rent a V-Rod. I can't say that I was thrilled to have to ride on the back of the thing with him , but it made him happy so I did it. We had the bike for 8 hours so we decided to take a small trip to see the Hoover Dam. For me the ride was scary but I'm a worry wart any ways. It was a 2 hour drive and my butt felt every minute of it on the way back. OUCH! The Dam it self was pretty neat to see. We didn't do much touring because we had to have the bike back in such a short time but we did go on the bridge.
After the Hoover Dam we hung out with my sister and brother in law. I can honestly say this trip didn't include a large amount of alcohol. But our amount of sleep totalled 10 hours because we stayed up as long as we could. We did go to the Shark Reff in the Mandalay Bay and it was pretty neat. Sadly enough thats the only place I took pictures really. I didn't want to pack my big camera and my phone was usually stoyed away so I didn't have to carry so much while we were playing on the strip. It's Vegas the less you pack the less you have to worry about. Right?
It was a great trip and once the plane hit the ground here back home I immediatly wanted to go back because we came home to SNOW. Yes snow on the ground and we left vegas with 80 degree beautiful weather. I love spending time in Vegas but I think most of all  I love the weather.
Here are the only pictures I took the whole weekend long. Sad I know.
Daniel and his oh so hot helment. Apparently in Vegas you have to wear a helment or it's a 1200 dollar fine.

I'm pretty sure this fish didn't like it's picture taken cause it looked like it was glaring at me the whole time. I just thought it's teeth were weird. Don't know what kind he is either?

I loved the Sting Ray exhibit. We got to pet them it was neat. They are very interesting creatures to say the least

The lion fish was pretty awesome as well. I've never seen one before.

Jelly fish are pretty weird looking if you ask me. All that jelly and no brain STRANGE.

Halloween Fun

For Halloween this year Dustin was a  beat up Football player and Bradley was just a football player.
So I insisted Tiny should be part of the dressing up fun and she got to be the FOOTBALL. Our Pumpkins this year were carved into Colt (Bradleys) pumpkin and Charger (Dustins) pumpkin.
Tiny didn't enjoy trick or treating as much as the kids did because she got to sit in the truck for the majority of it. She tends to get too excited when people are around and she loves to jump on every one. It was safer for the other kids to have her stay in the truck with Daniel and I while we drove the kids around.
This was before our Halloween School Carnival. My niece and nephew went with us. They were all too cute.

This is Dustin in the truck while we were headed out trick or treating.
Daniel was a party pooper and didn't dress up for Halloween. But he soon found out when we went to our party that dressing up is better then not because when every one else is you tend to stick out like a sore thumb. =>
I did a simple dress up and put on some kitty ears. At least when I went to the party I kinda fit in. =>
And of Course this is Bradley in the truck getting ready to trick or treat. I think he doesn't like our music in the truck so he brings his own. Ha ha.

Halloween this year was great. We went out like every one else on Saturday although we put candy out on both days. Then after trick or treating Daniel and I went to a Halloween party and had lots of fun.
Then on the actual day we celebrated my Moms birthday.

Turning 2

My sweet little niece Shyann turned 2 yesterday.
She is one of a kind, the only girl in the family of grandkids so far.
She is spoiled , and well loved.
We wouldn't know what to do without her in our family.
She is very quit spoken but when she speaks she usually makes you laugh.
Here are a few pictures of her birthday ( sorry they aren't very good , my good camera is in the shop and I only had my phone. Sadly iphone cameras aren't that great of quality.)

She refused to open some presents because of the tissue paper. In her words " ewww gross" when she touched the first bag. She is sooo silly some times.
Loved her purse she got too.
I got her a cupcake necklace and she insisted she needed to wear it. => Good job me. HA HA.
Most little kids are more interested in toys then clothes but this little girl um well she loved the clothes she got and she was very careful with them. => the toys well she just threw them. Well all of them besides her Cows. She loves cows.=>
She refused to blow out the candle.

Cave Falls Trek

This weekend while laying in bed enjoying the simple fact that we were able to sleep in on saturday Daniel and I were watching Outdoor Idaho on t.v. and saw a very beautiful place we just had to visit. But being as we had a few chores to do and a party to get Bradley to we put off our trip until Sunday instead of saturday.
So we took off after yes sleeping in on Sunday as well.
We headed to Cave Falls and the there arounds of that area. It was beautiful. We were hoping for some fall colors on the trees even though it's a bit late in the season , but since the weather has been so nice in the valley we figured the leaves would barely be changing in the mountains too. We were wrong but the view was beautiful any ways.
Here are some pictures from our weekend adventure.

Dustins Cowboys

This year Dustin also got to play football, but unfortunatly he only got to play flag football. Although he really wanted to tackle he settled for simply pulling flags.
His team was filled with kids that all went to his school which was great for him because he knew every one. Although they were the cowboys ( a team in which Dustin makes fun of all the time.), they did very well.
They got to play 6 games and out of the 6 they won 4 , even though they don't actually keep score us as parents did because of course the boys wanted to know if they were winners.
Dustin got to play almost all of the positions and did very well as fullback. He is big enough to tackle through the middle and get that ball to where it needs to be.
Now that flag season is over he is happy that next season brings TACKLE.
I think he'll do very well.

WOOHOO ! TROJANS

After 1 and a half years in the making, our Trojans finally pulled through.
Last night I was such a proud mamma. Bradley had another football game against, none other then Rocky Mountain. He insisted he was winning against them because it's where I went to school. He wanted to prove Rigby is "better" then Bonneville. Well after last night I'm pretty sure Bradley proved to me that Rigby 3 for 5th grade football is better then RM3. =>
Bradley made the first touchdown and extra point in a matter of 3-4 minutes. No joke. Then another as soon as the ball was turned around and that extra point as well. Our defense was on fire as well. To which they have no replaced a player and put Bradley in as middle linebacker. He sacked the quarterback a few times and did so well. We ended up making another touchdown and then Bradley YES Bradley made another. They were at the 20 yard line on the opposite side of the field and Bradley RAN the whole way to score again. He was at least 10 yards in front of every one and unstoppable. He was on FIRE. WOOHOO!
Bradley made 3 of the 5 touchdowns for the night and was ALL smiles after the game.
It's only taken this long to finally win a game but hell when they did it they did it well. The other team didn't even get close to scoring and our coach was actually asked to have Bradley sit out because he was doing so well. I guess it's a mercy , so to be "fair" Bradley sat out for the last quarter. He wasn't happy about sitting out but it at least gave the other kids a chance to play.
WOOHOO RIGBY TROJANS!

Here are a couple pictures ,I didn't bring my good camera and these are from my phone, wish I would of brought it but these will have to do. Too bad there wasn't a score board I would of taken a pic of that too. =>

Bradley turns 11

Yes it's true my young man has turned 11.
It's crazy to realize how fast time really flies.
Sadening really.
I can't believe in 11 years how so many things have changed.
For Bradleys birthday this year we were extremely busy.
First thing in the morning we were up and heading to a football game by 7:30 in the morning.
Bradley played sugar city and although they didn't win it was an awesome game. The score was 19-13. If they only had one more touch down they would of had it. Oh well though there's always next time right.
After Bradley's game we headed to Rigby for Dustins game and they did just as well. Although Flag football is very confusing as far as I'm concerned. They don't keep 'score' for them so I'm not sure who won because me and Bradley ended up to the game alittle late.
After football games and cleaning up (changing clothes from sweaty stinky to nice.) We picked up a couple of Bradley's friends and took off for the bowling lanes.
I'm not so sure the boys had a ton of fun when they realized they weren't winning but they didn't complain any. After bowling we went back to the house where they could hang out and of course play FOOTBALL.
All of them are football crazed.
Later on in the evening we had family over for some cake and ice cream and enjoyed the evening chatting.
For me this birthday was good because there were no holes in the wall afterwards, and the kids weren't crazy hyper because of the sugar.
Now if I can only get my boys to stop growing so fast we will be doing great. => Ha ha I know fat chance right? But a mom can always dream.

Of course we had a football cake.

opening presents with friends gathered to watch

singing happy birthday and he is laughing because the dog was joining us.

making a wish.

Union Falls (on Horse Back)

Daniel had the chance this past weekend to go horseback up to Union Falls with a couple of his customers.
Although I wasn't there I wanted to share a few of the pictures they "tried" to take. While on horseback it's hard to take a picture according to Daniel.
This was his first time horsebacking for 36 miles in the mountains, ( his rear end being sore 'understatment'  made this very apparent). Here are a few of the not so blurry pictures.
one of the many falls they seen.

treckin through the river

seeing Daniel on a horse is a bit wierd for me.

Beautiful scenery they sat in the hot pools to sooth their sore rears before the ride back.

Labor Day Camping

On labor day weekend not only did we go to the fair but we also went camping in Leadore at the Big 8 Mile campground, for Daniel's uncles house warming party. They built a new home and wanted to celebrate with all of their family and friends.
We had roasted pig and drinks with a live band and campfire to stand around, so I'd say it was a great time. Daniel and I didn't have too many drinks so the frigid temps were alittle too much for us.
It was below freezing during the nights and I think 40's or 50's during the day. But we didn't let it stop us from having fun. Daniel double pulled up there so we were able to take bobcat and enjoy some beautiful scenery except the road up to the lakes was awfully bumpy. But worth it by the time we got to where we were going.
We visited for the first time.
Dairy Lake which wasn't too bad of a ride, and silly me forgot to charge the battery in the camera so we didn't get any pictures of the lake. But I will say it was Beautiful.
And then after charging my battery we went up to Everson Lake.
That treck was the worst it was huge rock after huge rock to drive over. But amazed as we were that the bobcat actually made it , we found the beautiful lake and enjoyed walking around it for a little while before the wind picked up and froze us.
Leadore is such a beautiful place when you get into the mountains and start to explore the country, so nice infact I can't wait til next year when we are able to head up again and see the rest of the Lakes they have up there.
More times then not we had to cross the creek to get to where we were going.
The picture doesn't show it but the bobcat is diesal and did alittle smoking on the last little bit.
Everson Lake.
The boys checking it out.
The boys posing while I take a pic of the cliffs all around the lake.
the drift wood around the lake was beautiful as well.
Around the campfire trying to warm up after the ride in the bobcat.
