Family in From TEXAS

For my little sisters wedding family came in From TEXAS.
Family that I haven't seen in 5 years was able to come and visit for a few days before my sisters wedding and a couple days after as well. My Gammie , aunt Angie, aunt Amy which is the same age as me, Katie  my cousin and Paige also my cousin and Katie's baby girl Ella.
We were so busy during the day that we hardly had time to visit so we spent every night up until the wee hours of the night. My kids were so little for the last visit that they didn't even remember the Fam. But it didn't take them long to warm up. Paige Katie and Bradley and Dustin were best buddies, hanging out and doing whatever.
The boys broke the girls in and took them out in the bobcat for a ride in the desert, they ended up with a flat tire and had to entertain themselves while they waited for Daniel to get back with stuff to fix the tire. They claimed they were bored but I'm pretty sure they were having fun.
Then we enjoyed their last day here up at Mesa Falls.
I'm not so sure every one liked the hiking because they aren't use to it being as it was two of theirs first being in Idaho. But the pictures told another story.
I really enjoyed their visit and was happy to finally be able to visit with them.
Other family members came as well from Texas I was just as happy to visit with them ( Grandma Jeanne and my Cousin Scott ). We get to visit with them at least once a year which is nice.
I was sad to see them all go. But I wasn't going to cry until the kids starting crying and made me do it. =)
For not knowing them very well the kids sure did get along so well that they were heartbroken when they all left. Thank god for tech. so they can keep in touch with them from here on out.

Lil Sis' Wedding!

Wow the past two weeks have been a blurr and soooo busy, but I wanted to blog and let every one know whats going on in this part of the neighborhood.
My sister Brandy Kay got married at our house on the 19th of this month.
It was crazy busy but I loved doing it for her.
For her wedding our family from Texas came to visit and join in on the fun.
It's been 5 years since I've seen the Ainsworth side . My kids didn't even remember them which was kinda sad that I haven't been doing my job to keep in touch with all my family and letting my kids get to know who they are.
The kids hit it off with Katie and Paige so well ( my cousins ). My grandma Jeanne and cousin Scott also came from Texas from my momma's side.
My baby sister Krystal also got to visit from Vegas as well.
It was a house full for every one and extremely eventful.
The wedding went well even though mom and I were stressed the whole time, we had in mind what we wanted but things didn't work out exactly how we wanted, if it wasn't one thing it was another. But in the end my sister had a beautiful quick ceremony in the front yard , and My Grandma Jeanne cooked a delicous brisket Texas style with lots of other wonderful sides.
We danced drank alittle and enjoyed every ones company.
Now that it's over I can breath alittle better , but I really did enjoy doing this for my sister and helping her celebrate her wonderful day.

Daniel n Friends vs. Younger Guys

The other day Daniel was given a challenge from the neighbor kid down the road.
Mikey the 17 year old neighbor kid is in love with football.
Everything he does revolves around football , and he decided to challenge Daniel and a bunch of his friends to a football game. So Daniel being himself couldn't resist the challenge. I think he may think he is younger then he really is, or maybe he just doesn't realize his own age?
So Mikey put together all the details of the game and all Daniel had to do was recruit a team for himself. Easier said then done , because alot of the people he tried to recruit really didn't want to get wooped by a bunch of high school kids. But alas after calls for days Daniel finally found his team.
And they all meet up at the local elementary school to play a game of football. But turn out was not as planned and if it wasn't for a friend of ours there wouldn't of been a game at all for either team. Thank god Roberts is small and Talo knew every one in town and recruited enough people for 3 teams. =) In all it turned out pretty good , not so many high school young guys and the older guys didn't get as tore up as we were thinking. Yes Daniel was sore but a good work out is a good thing. Right?
With me and the other wives on the side lines it was very entertaining. I think we may be doing it again.

The kids needed to use the bathroom and the pole looked like a good spot.
When your potty training kids it's easier to let them go then make them
hold it. Right? Two 3 year olds and one 1 year old going. lol.with Dustin and
my sister making sure they don't take off with their pants around
their ankles. =)
