Chivlary

Yes it's true chilvary may not be died after all.
I wanted to share with any one who wanted to read this , there are a few men out there who believe in chivlary. I was in town today at walmart and usually when I'm there ,there are soo many grumpy people out it drives me crazy. I'm nice and considerate to others even on a bad day and I would appreciate the same, you don't have to be smiley or jumping for joy all the time just be nice. While shopping I ran into sooo many mean people that I was beginning to become pretty grumpy myself. I had to pick up dog food while I was there and we have two big dogs so we get 50lbs of dog food to feed them for the week. It's heavy but not so much I can't take care of it , but as I was walking to my truck a man parked on the side of my truck hurried out of his car to help me with the big bag of food. I was so impressed by how kind he was to help. I insisted he didn't need to go out of his way but he insisted he was to going to help.He put the bag into my truck and shut the tailgate as well. For whatever reason I forgot about the grumpiness all around and it made my day better.

I think some of the younger men around here could take a few lessons from the older gentlemen. It would be nice if everyone could use their manners even if their day is bad you never know who you may help and how much it helped them with their day whether you do something big or small. For me it was the simple reminder that not all men are ass holes and not all men are in it to get it.

A wedding vent.

If any one of you are interested this blog entry is meant as a vent.
My little sister Krystal is engaged to be married to her love Adam on April 25, 2009. She got engaged in October of last year. We have been helping her plan her wedding and get every thing in order for her big day, I say we because my mom and other two sisters are helping as well as some of his family. We are trying to help them save money and make it as nice as possible. When we learned she was getting married all of us girls went out in Nov. 2008 to look for dresses. Miranda (the youngest sis) is the maid of honor ,Brandy (the second oldest) is a braids maid and I myself am a bridesmaid as well. She decided her colors are teal, dark blue, and amethist purple. We went into Harts to look for dresses set on finding the dress for her and dresses for us. We spent a mer 2 hours trying on dresses and she found THE one. Krystal fell in love with a dress and wanted it no questions asked. It was $950 , I know price is no concern when it's the dress , but it was a bit for me cause I can't fathom spending that kind of money on a dress you'll wear once ( I'm not a typical lady I assume). We also found our dresses as well. In the exact colors Krystal wanted so we ordered them.
We were told that they should be in on March 6th. So from November to March we have waited for our dresses. Well March 6th arrived and no call in on the dresses so Krystal called them and wondered where they could be , NO DRESSES. They told her give them 2 more weeks and they would be in. Two weeks passes and NO DRESSES. One more week passed and Krystal finally got her dress in. We took her in to try it on and it fits perfectly no alterations needed. But they lost the briads maid dresses they have no idea where they are the manufacture says they shipped them but there is no dress to be found. We are still fighting to get the dresses and we are getting closer to the big day as time counts down. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND HARTS to ANYONE that needs a dress ordered. They keep blaming everyone else for the problem and is not willing to work a deal for anything. I think they should offer at least a discount on tux's or even some money off of the dresses. How could they do this and leave so much stress on our shoulders when there was already enough stress to begin with. Wedding are alot of work yes but it would help if people would keep their word and have things come in on time. uhm.

Is there a Pause Button?

When you have kids sometimes you wonder, is there a pause button? My baby turned 7 this past Friday and it's kind of sad.
It's funny because it seems like yesterday Daniel and I were heading to the hospital to welcome our little bundle of joy into this world. Well actually he wasn't so little when he was born he wieghed 9lbs 2oz. He has always been a big boy.

Well we had a big party for his birthday on Friday the 6th , and man I don't know what I was thinking when I let him invite 17 friends. My house is not made for that many people because not only did we have his friends, we had family from both sides here as well. Crazy kids running around all night drove me insane, but I had to remind myself it was for Dustin's sake not mine. He had a cake with his pictures on it , and got a computer from Daniel and I, yes I know a 7 year old with a computer,? but seriously it was mostly Daniels idea. He likes to spoil his kids and I must admit I like to spoil them as well. Dustin also got to pick a couple friends to stay the night as well and so the party lasted all night until the next day. Needless to say yes I was happy when every one went home finally. I just hope Dustin had a good birthday. But from now on , I am looking for the pause button on their growing up because 9 and 7 is too old already. Maybe if I find the pause button I'll look for the rewind one as well and go back just alittle.

Daniel's Addiction

Yes it's true Daniel's an addict as well as Bradley and Dustin.

As many of you know already our family has a passion or more of an obsession with dirtbikes.

Daniel finally rebuilt his bike this weekend.

He blew his bike up in the middle of the summer last year and was purely sadden by it. He didn't rebuild it because he didn't have the time last year. So for the rest of the year he rode around on Bradleys 65 yes a bit small but when you are obsessed with riding it matters not what size but whether it'll carry you and let you pretend to ride. :)

Well Daniel has finally found the time to get his bike taken care of. After putting much time and money into it it's finally running. We spent all Sunday in the garage putting it back together. He even was on a kick and wanted it to look nice as well , so he polished the frame as well. It shined for a moment until he took it out for a test run. You should of seen the smile on his face when he first kicked it over. It has been so long since he rode a big boy bike ha ha that he said it took him a moment to get use to it but really it didn't take long. Boys n their toys!

wonderful month of March

So apparently spring is on it's way, I know this because at 5 a.m. this morning thunder woke Daniel and I from a dead sleep along with heavy rain and some hail. Now I am not a fan of the muddy mess from the rain and snow melting but I am a huge fan of the warmer weather.
With March comes my babies birthday the 6th to be exact my baby is turning 7 years old this year. Seems just yesterday he was barely learning to walk and getting into more things then he should. It's sad to have him be so grown but I know thats life and I deal the best I can .
We will be having his birthday party Friday night so I will make another post with birthday happenings but for now I wanted to share the spring with everyone. First we will start by saying the boys have riding fever.
As you all may know my boys all 3 are obsessed with dirtbikes the faster the better. Well Daniel has decided it's time Bradley moves up in size he is riding a 65cc now but Daniel insisted he needed a 85cc. So over the weekend we found a cheap used KX85. Daniel had Bradley try it out and oh my hell the little shit fits. He is always growing , right now he is tiptoed on the bike but I'm sure around the middle of the summer he will more then fit this bike. I'm scared because this means "more" power and he will be only 1 step away from a 250cc, Daniel has decided Bradley is skipping the 125 stage and heading for the big guy.
I'm a mother and I'm freaked beacause the way Bradley is growing so fast it won't be too long. So any one who wants to wish me luck I'd appreciate it. My boys really should just stop growing now and I'd be the happiest mother on the planet.
