So this year we went to the fair as usual , and ate as much food as we could fit in
our bellies. But I'm not so sure we enjoyed all the people pushing and shoving us trying to get to the food as well.
This year for Labor Day weekend we went to the Fair on a Monday instead of a Sunday like we usually do. I would not recommend it if you don't enjoy lots and lots of crowds and waiting in line for 45 minutes to get a bite to eat. Maybe I was just in a "mood" but it was a bit annoying.
We ate some delicious food though.
We had funnel cakes , ice cream and tortatoes. It was enough to stuff the boys for once and it was surprising to me.
After we ate some delicious food we walked around and checked things out as much as we could , we walked through the barns to see all of the animals and walked of course as per Dustins request through the petting zoo. I loved the little pot bellie pig they had there it was adorable.
Daniel says I'm alittle weird for thinking it was cute but hey what can I say?
Then as we were walking around we came across another cute animal.
It was a mini bull. It was the strangest thing I've seen.
The top part of it was like a full grown beautifully built bull , then you look down and it's legs are cut in half. Not literally cut in half but the size was cut in half from a normal bull's size.
I've never seen a bull like that but he was beautiful. When I first saw him I could of sworn he was laying down. =>
After checking out the bull we took the kids to get the air brush tattoos. And then Daniel saw this strange looking bike with an sign that read, " $5 to ride bike if you can we pay you $50." Of course he couldn't turn this up. So he paid his $5 and tried it out. He took 3 tries and didn't ride it. Then while watching others try he told me " there isn't anything I can't ride, I'm trying again." So he paid another $5 and again it was a NO ride. Ha ha! Guess there is something he can't ride.
In all the fair was alright. Because after that we left. Maybe next year we'll go when it's not so BUSY. And we will actually enjoy walking around and seeing the sights of the fair.
