Yes it's true , the end of the school year is getting near.
The boys have one more week and then they are out for summer vacation. And they couldn't be more excited.
During the last month of school it's always so busy , with field trips for each boy and field day for the entire school my schedule is no longer stay at home mom.
I love helping out with the boys' school when ever it involves doing things with them.
So this year Bradley's class went to the Rendevous in Rigby to go along with their Idaho History lesson. Bradley was very into learning his Idaho history I think it was his very favorite lesson of them all.
Although it was a cold day and we had to walk around and learn about every thing OUTSIDE, it was a fun field trip to tag along with.
Dustin's class was able to go to BYU-I to the planetarium and learn about Space. He has now decided rather then being a Marine ( which I was totally against ) , he wants to be a Astronat ( my spelling is awful sorry ) . After the planetarium we went to the green house and learned alittle more. I think the best part of the day for me was sitting in the park eating our lunches and enjoying the kids gabbing away about every thing. Dustin's class is very talkative and I love listening to their stories. =)
It was a fun field trip as well.
Then a few days later they had their field day. Where we spend ALL day outside and lucky enough it was a beautiful day for it. With temps in the upper 70's who could complain. Oh wait my shoulders could he he because silly me I forgot the most important thing for the day, SUN SCREEN.
Bradley and Dustin did very well and had lots of fun. Bradley of course is and has been in the past one of THE fastest kids in the SCHOOL. Yes I said SCHOOL. This kid should be on the track team in high school but I would be surprised if he does , because his passion is FOOTBALL. I'm so proud of my two young men. They do so well with every thing they do and have passion for.
Now in one week I will feel even older because I will have a 5th grader and a 3rd grader on my hands. Oh the joys of getting old.
