Camping

Last weekend we went camping finally some time out of the house.
We went with my father in law and his girlfriend and her kids, she also had her mom and dad there as well. It was a fun time. The kids really enjoyed it. Our intentions were to only stay one night but we ended up staying the whole weekend and coming back on Sunday.
Although the place wasn't what we usually enjoy it was a good secluded place to be. The kids swam in the creek (with life jackets) it was so deep in spots that even I couldn't touch. But they had a blast in fact they stand in it all day Saturday. Then later in the evening when it got cold they for the first time ever rode a horse. Dustin went on an hour ride on a lovely sweet old horse named Foxy she was such a good horse. Dustin loved it when he came back to camp he was grinning from ear to ear enjoying every last second. Bradley got to go on a ride on Foxy for 20 minutes or so and wasn't so sure he enjoyed it as much as he thought he would. In fact he told me he'd rather stick with a dirt bike then the horse, not that she was bad just not something he felt comfortable doing. Dustin the next day asked if I would buy him a horse of his own. I said no way in hell. :) Then he proceeded to tell me that when he gets older he'll buy his own horse , because when he is 18 I can't tell him no. Lil stinker.
Its always nice to sit around a campfire and enjoy the quietness as we sleep. I always enjoy a good weekend out camping. Now we are just waiting for the next adventure.

FUN!! I LOVE camping, but unfortunately David is in the wrong business to have time in the summer to do that!! We do get to go once in a while, but not as much as I would like!

We haven't gotten out as much as we like but we have been a couple times. We live in our camper during the summer. That is one thing I LOVE about Idaho the mountains and every where else are great places to explore.
